Samaritan House is excited to announce the opening of the Holiday Toy Shop at the San Mateo County Event Center on Friday, December 15th and Saturday, December 16th. The San Mateo County Event Center is proud to both host and be a sponsor for this festive event for over 1,000 children. “This is a very special time of year at Samaritan House. It brings us great joy to share a bit of holiday magic with our client families and their children. We believe each child and teen deserves to receive presents during the holidays. All toys and gifts have been donated by private citizens, corporate partners, and small businesses. None of this would be possible without their support,” shares Samarian House CEO, Laura Bent.
The Samaritan House Holiday Toy Shop is made possible through the generous support of many sponsors and individual program donors. Each child will have the opportunity to select up to four new donated toys and will also receive new books from the San Mateo County Library. “We look forward to supporting Samaritan House with all their programs to help those in need.” said Dana Stoehr, CEO San Mateo County Event Center
