Free Dental Clinic

Free Dental Clinic Coming to San Mateo

The California Dental Association Foundation will be hosting a CDA Cares free dental clinic April 22-23 at the San Mateo County Event Center. Doors open at 5:30 a.m. both days and patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis with a goal of providing care to approximately 2,000 people during the two-day clinic.

The services offered are limited to extractions, fillings, cleanings, some partials to replace front teeth, limited root canals, dentures, oral health education and assistance in finding a source for future dental care. Uncontrolled blood pressure or diabetes may prevent patients from receiving dental care at the event — please take prescribed medications as directed.

Parking is free in the East Parking Lot at 1346 Saratoga Drive. Pedestrian access is available via Gates 3 and 7 only. Interpreters are available to assist those who do not speak English.

“Our connectional partnership with the CDA has been in the works for several years and I could not be more pleased to welcome the awesome outreach of this CDA offering,” said Dana Stoehr, CEO of the San Mateo County Event Center.

“The free dental clinic is a clear demonstration of goodwill and fosters the growing need to address overall health and wellness within the community.”
