The San Mateo County Event Center is the only venue serving all the major population centers in the Bay Area. Spanning 48 acres, our property features seven buildings with over 195,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space, three large parking lots, and beautifully maintained outdoor event areas. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale public or private event, our versatile facility can accommodate your needs.

We’ve hosted many large and small events since hosting the “Little Flower Show” in1926.
Since then we’ve expanded our grounds, services, and amenities to provide one of the best event locations in Northern California.
The San Mateo County Event Center, home to the annual San Mateo County Fair, is the only venue accessible by all local major freeways. Over the years, it has evolved to become the Bay Area’s top destination for consumer and trade events, meetings, festivals, corporate events, sporting events, and much more. Additionally, the Event Center serves as an emergency response and resiliency center for the community.

If your nonprofit organization is looking for a meaningful way to support the San Mateo County Fair while raising funds, we’d love to partner with you. The Fair works with nonprofit groups to provide volunteer opportunities in concession stands, guest services, and parking operations. These roles allow organizations to earn funds for their programs while participating in excitement of the Fair. It’s a unique alternative to traditional fundraisers like car washes or bake sales, offering a fun, team-oriented environment that builds camaraderie.
