SAN MATEO – The San Mateo County Event Center & Fair will host the annual SaaStr (Software as a Service) Conference this September. The conference is an event for SaaS executives, founders, and VCs to come together and enjoy three days of networking sessions, VCs and Investors meet and pitch’s, speakers from the world’s leading SaaS companies, and deep dives into community workshops and classes.
On September 27-29, 2021, the San Mateo County Event Center safely welcomed more than 5,000 in-person conference attendees to the SaaStr Annual Conference. This conference was the LARGEST in-person conference in the San Francisco Bay Area since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The return to in-person events is proving vital to the economic recovery of the San Mateo Valley & Silicon Valley area. This year’s conference injected more than $2.4 million dollars of a positive economic impact into the community. Additionally, four hotel properties in San Mateo sold out of rooms for the event, with more than 1,500 rooms occupied across the area.
Over 10,000 + SaaS executives, founders, and VCs will come together to participate in SaaStr Annual 2022, the world’s largest SaaS community event of the year. The conference will consist of three full days of tactical sessions from world known founders, new voices, and up and comers as well as speeches from 250+ speakers from the best SaaS companies around the world. The weekend will also include 1,000+ networking meetings, AMA’s, mentoring sessions 1-on-1’s, and roundtables with other professionals. These events go over specific, SaaStr style actionable advice and learnings to help teach participants how to grow their business from $0 to $100M ARR with less stress and more success.
The conference places heavy emphasis on the speaker’s involvement in the event. During COVID, the San Mateo Event Center was unable to host most events but instead played a vital role in protecting our health care workers and most vulnerable populations by serving as a COVID-19 testing site, operations hub, and supply center, 250-bed temporary overflow hospital, and vaccine distribution center for the San Francisco Bay Area. To date, the Event Center has
administered 250,000 COVID-19 tests and vaccinated more than 90,000 individuals.
